Children's Electrical Safety Programs: - See Guidelines
- Louie & the Shocking Truth
Video plus colorful demonstrations that help children learn electrical safety inside and outside the home. This hour-long presentation is available to elementary schools served by KCP&L. Program length: 60 minutes
- Sparky & Electra
With the help of two mischievous squirrel puppets, kids learn about electrical safety inside and outside the home. "Sparky & Electra" is a specially designed program for licensed preschool and daycare facilities served by KCP&L. Program length: 30 minutes
Both safety presentations end with a question-and-answer period, and all children receive age-appropriate handouts as fun reminders of the valuable lessons they've learned.
