Kansas City Power & Light is made up of committed, involved employees providing for current and future generations through leadership, technology, innovation and caring. It is in this spirit that we direct resources to improve the quality of life in the communities in which we serve and work. In addition to supporting our employees in volunteerism, we’ve built our corporate funding around three fundamental areas: at-risk youth development, environment and economic/workforce development. If you represent a non-profit, 501(C)3 organization interested in submitting a request, please review our priority areas and proposal requirements listed below. Priority program funding areas: At-risk youth - support of at-risk youth agencies providing programming to improve school readiness and continued educational success.
