KCP&L focuses on helping community agencies provide resources for those who have experienced challenges.

We develop strong partnerships with community action agencies, working together to connect available resources with those who need it. Our goal is to help customers pay their electricity bills, especially in the heat of the summer and the coldest parts of the winter. We team with local organizations on a variety of efforts and offer a range of payment arrangementsfinancial assistance and flexible payment options.
We can assist agencies with:

  • Presentations for case worker meetings and agency lunch-and-learns.
  • Brochures and other information for distribution.
