Our customer service lines are staffed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays except holidays. Bilingual staff is available. All lines are automated around-the-clock so you can check account status, make payment arrangements or report service problems anytime.

Hearing Impaired Customers
Customers with speech and hearing impairments may use TDD/TTY equipment to call us. Simply:

1. Dial 7-1-1 to be routed to your state’s TDD/TTY relay operator. If 7-1-1 does not work in your area, Missouri customers may dial 800-735-2966; Kansas customers may dial 800-766-3777.
2. Provide the relay operator with KCP&L’s Customer Service number: 888-471-5275. We will be glad to assist you via the relay operator.
