Using AccountLink to Pay Online


If you are registered for AccountLink and have a checking account, you can view and pay your KCP&L electric bill via the Internet. Once you have successfully completed the registration process for online bill payment (Web Pay), you can begin paying your monthly bill online.

Web Pay Registration Process:
Simply Login to the AccountLink system and select "Add Bank Account". This will open a form so you can enter your bank information and begin paying online right away!

(NOTE: You must be registered as an AccountLink user in order to submit the Web Payment form for processing.)

Confirmation:
A confirmation will be e-mailed to you once your registration has been activated in KCP&L's web payment system.

    Restrictions:
  • Automatic Payment customers cannot use the online bill payment method.
  • You must make your payment in advance of the due date. Otherwise, you will be responsible for any late charges.
  • You must have an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) enabled browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape.

Payment Choices:
You will continue to receive a monthly paper bill. If you do not wish to make your payment online, you can pay by mail or at one of KCP&L's convenient bill payment locations. You may choose to pay by mail one month and then pay online the next -- the choice is yours.
