Payment Options
Your time is valuable, and at today's busy pace, it can easily slip away. So Kansas City Power & Light offers a variety of payment options to both save you time and help you pay on time - so you'll never have to worry about late charges or service downtime.
Pay Online - Save time and paper with these free options:
- AccountLink®, KCP&L's own online service, provides you the speed and convenience of electronic payment plus full access to all of your account information. Options include e-mail notifications, paperless billing and scheduling of payments.
- Paperless Billing, Save money, save time, and save paper the easy way.
- CheckFree® is another alternative for paying by electronic check. When you sign up for CheckFree you no longer receive a paper bill, and you get the option to pay multiple service providers.
Automatic Recurring Payment - Auto Pay automatically pays your bill on your due date through electronic withdrawal from your debit or credit card, or bank account.
In Person - Drop off your payment at more than 40 locations throughout KCP&L's service area.
By Phone - Pay by electronic check or by credit card over the phone for same day posting.
By Mail - Return envelopes are included with your monthly bill. Allow at least three working days for delivery. Mailing address is:
