Income-Eligible Multi-Family

KCP&L is working with eligible properties to save energy and resources.

Exterior of brick apartment buildingProperties that supply housing to income-eligible tenants can now receive free energy-efficient products—installed at no cost. Property owners may also receive incentives to make pre-approved, customized energy efficient improvements to common areas. This helps reduce energy usage and increase comfort for tenants—and saves them money.

By collaborating with property owners and managers of income-eligible multi-family housing, we’re improving properties and promoting energy efficient practices throughout our community. Reduced energy usage means lower bills and increased comfort for tenants.

Kansas customers

Although many of our programs apply only to Missouri customers, we’re working hard to offer Kansas customers the same opportunity to save. We are in the process of requesting approval from Kansas Corporation Commission and hope to launch new programs in 2017. In the meantime, Energy Analyzer can help you better understand your energy use and find customized tips to save. Log in to your online account begin.
